Well we made it to the beach and barely made it back. Keiko was postponed as only myself and Vince turned up with bogu!! We had complaints of hangover’s sore wrists etc. I think they just couldnt wait for the fine food and booze. Without further haste (and after a quick trip to tesco’s) the barbi was fired up and the session got underway with Hisano launching into the wine. Everyone had loads of bread, beer, burgers, sausages, ribs, and wine, (plus a few soft drinks for the drivers). And Nigel brought his own Fillet Steak!! Snob. Success! Plans are already formulating for our next outing… and we will use the red and blue ballons then!!

On the 29th of June Cork Budokai will meet at the lough community center at 14:00.
We will then go to a local beach for 2 hours keiko from 14:-00 to 16:00(ish). We will then have an optional swim followed by an optional barbq followed by mandatory wine and beer.
Please try to come. All welcome, even Dublin yobos if they are around.

Irish team training is starting again. The panel is open at present so please come and take part.
The next 2 events are the world championships in Brazil in 2009 and the european championships in Itialy in 2010.
